Wesley-6 days new

Wesley is 6 days new and was not the most cooperative for his newborn photos, but he was still a joy to be around.

Spring is in Bloom

The past couple of weekends we have had friends visit from out of town. Both weekends we visited Olbrich Botanical Garden in Madison. The flowers were blooming and so pretty.

So you’ve been asked to shoot a wedding…

Yesterday I had the wonderful opportunity to attend a workshop on wedding photography at the Center for Photography at Madison. This information filled day was put on by Amanda Reseburg of Type A Images. I learned so much information from the initial meeting with clients to lighting indoors and outdoors.  With the few inquires I have received in the past to shoot a wedding, this full day workshop gave me more confidence to say YES when someone asks me to be their wedding day photographer. Let me know if you are looking for an affordable wedding photographer in the Madison area or even the Twin Cities! 🙂

Our First Thanksgiving

It has been awhile since my last post, but we have been incredibly busy. This year Jared and I were thankful to be able to spend Thanksgiving in Edgerton! My parents drove down from Minnesota for a long weekend and my father-in law and grandmother came for dinner on Thanksgiving.

I spent all day cooking and cleaning in preparation for hosting our first Thanksgiving together as husband and wife. All of the hard work paid off because everyone loved the food!

While my parent’s were in town we did a little shopping, baked Christmas cookies, went to Georgio’s for pizza, and worked on some craft projects for the apartment.
